The Pine Tree Players began as Fairfield Community Theater in 1972 and performed in the Mt. Zion auditorium. In 1984 the Players renovated the former Mormon church into the Pine Tree Playhouse. The church was purchased by five Winnsboro businessmen and deeded to the Players upon the condition that we operate as a 501c3
