About us


Pine Tree Playhouse is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of four officers and four directors. The Board is elected by the organization membership at an annual meeting of the membership, date of which is designated by the sitting Board. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at the Songbird Manor in Winnsboro and are open to the public.
 

Mission


The purposes of Pine Tree Playhouse are: to stimulate, promote, teach and develop interest in the dramatic arts; to educate the general public in the dramatic arts; to create opportunities for all who are interested in the theatre to participate in its activities; to advance the general level of culture in the field of dramatic arts by the establishment and maintenance of a theatre for the production of plays, musicals, readings, dramas, comedies, exhibitions, and dramatic arts in all forms and of the highest standards; and to bring all aspects of the dramatic arts to areas and centers not adequately served.
